Wednesday evening
I just got off the phone with JC. He is rooming with 3 others this evening and one of the other boys is as homesick as he is. He said that Germany is very pretty and they did some sight seeing today, he took "some" pictures. He did not mention what they had for dinner tonight, so apparently it did not make much of an impression. For the parents who have contacted me, I did ask him to have your children call you. He said Shannon the delegate leader from Michigan said to have the parents call the people to people office and they will have your children call you. I hope this helps for those of you who still havent heard from your children. I only hear from my son, my daughter apparently has forgotten she has her cell phone.

I just got off the phone with Taylor and she said that Germany was very nice from what she had seen. She thought they would get more sightseeing in tomorrow. She was very excited about the Cuckoo clock she had purchased. She told me food in Germany is: like "real food" (ha-ha). Dinner tonight was chicken with a sauce on it and baked potatoes. Really the first food she has enjoyed.
Thank you for the posting Sherry. I look forward to checking the Blog each day to see what is going on with the children. The postings give me a good idea of what my daughter, Marie, who does not have a cell phone, is experiencing.
I spoke to Markell yesterday. He says he is doing "really good!" I did however have to say "please at least send me a text message every few days". Apparently, he doesn't remember he has a cell phone either. He must be having a fabulous time.
